COUTURE FOR A CURE

Couture for a Cure is the finale of the WWS fashion show, and is the brainchild of fashion designer Isaac Spry and Catwalk Productions CEO Randi Layne. They collaborated to bring together a collection of Atlanta couture designers  who have a personal connection to cancer prevention. This diverse group of designers—showcasing everything from classic to avant garde styles—have generously offered to make special pieces for WWS and give proceeds from the auction of these pieces to Northside Hospital's Cancer Institute.

We will be there. Will you? Meet the designers:

David Ojeda April 2014

This year we had the privilege of planning the wedding of radio celebrity Pau Pau. What an event! Hosted in the beautiful Lake Lanier Hotel and Resort, we transform their pavilion into a spaced filled with wind sway drapes, flowers in hues of blue and red, arranged organically on tables lit with candles under oversize lanterns. The ceremony was held by the lake decorated with draped panels, glass sconces flanking the couple and a large double arched framing the way.

The dress, a chiffon, silk satin and beaded French lace with a small train, was designed and custom made by David Ojeda. A high neck framed he gorgeous face and a deep neckline accented her figure. But it was her low cut contoured back, which made guests gasp. Sexy and romantic, this dress really represented and complemented her personality and beauty.

The reception was not only a family affair, it was an event. The couple treated guests to dances from their home countries; Colombia and Mexico. A flamenco group started the party after guests were serenated to a string quartet by the Lake during the ceremony.

Service was exceptional and timelines flowed seamlessly. Every detail was attended to, from a small sitting lit sitting area on the grassy field to the eye shadow color selection. From amazing lighting and party music to the cupcakes decorated with their silver initials.
